JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern

Joint Entrance Exam or JEE is completed in two tiers. First step is JEE Main and second tier is known as JEE Advanced. Candidates have to qualify the first tier of the exam as per the rules to proceed for the second round. Therefore candidates those who qualify the JEE Main 2015 exam will only be able to appear in the JEE Advanced exam. To qualify in the exam it is mandatory to have details of the JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern so that candidates can prepare a strategy for their preparation.
 

JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern:

JEE Main 2015 Test Pattern will provide details for the pattern that is followed by CBSE to set the question paper. If the candidates have this knowledge they will be able to prepare a strategy for the exam. If not, then it will act as a surprise for the candidates which may prove itself as a reason of candidate's failure in the exam. Below given are the details for JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern for the knowledge of candidates:
 
  • There will be two papers in JEE Main exam:
           1.  Paper 1 for BE and B.Tech.
           2.  Paper 2 for B.Arch.
 
  • Time allotted per paper is 3 hours.
  • Candidates will have the choice to attempt both the papers.

JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern - Paper 1:

  • Subjects from which questions will be asked: Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
  • There will be three sections in the paper carrying equal number of marks.
  • Paper will be Objective type paper.
  • If a candidate chooses an incorrect answer, 0.25% marks of that question will be deducted form the total.
  • Offline and online modes will be available.
  • Un attempted questions will not have any effect on the total.

JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern- Paper 2:

The details for the JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern for paper 2 are:
 
  • It will also be a MCQ paper.
  • Candidates will be tested for aptitude, mathematics and drawing in different sections.
